About this Cook
I come from a family of 9. I have been cooking since I was 9 years old. Being from a large family, it is difficult to re-learn to cook for 2. My father was a baker and my mother was a wonderful cook who taught me a lot about baking and cooking
My favorite things to cook
I don't really have a favorite thing, but I love to cook from scratch. If I can find a way to make up a recipe from scratch, I will. It just tastes better.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My 4 sisters always do a cookie swap at Christmas. I have really come to enjoy doing this every Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
I don't really have anything that I would call a triumph. If the dishes I cook turn out good, and my husband and family enjoy them, I consider those triumps.
My cooking tragedies
I don't really have any recent tragedies, but after having a father who was a baker, I still have never been able to make a decent loaf of bread!

Garlic Chicken
I don't usually like chicken breasts as they are usually dry and tasteless. This recipe is very good, not dry at all with a lot of garlic flavor. (love garlic). If you don't like chicken breast, try this recipe, you won't be sorry! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Alfredo Sauce I
This is a fantastic alfredo sauce. I have made it several times and it always turns out perfect! So much better than any sauce out of a jar.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
This was absolutely fabulous! The only thing I changed was using Lite Soy Sauce. Will definately make again. Thanks for a great recipe
