About this Cook
My name is Sarah. I am 25, married, and a mom of a handsome clever five year old boy. I go to college. I am pre-business. I will pursue a degree in Marketing/Economics.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook pasta, Mexican food, baked goods. I am trying to expand my abilities to cook. The more I cook and try new things the more I learn. I am beginning to learn how to eyeball things better, and understand the science of foods and how they work together which seems to help with cooking in general.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to get my son involved in the cooking process. It is something him and I could do together, and he likes the responsiblility. He seems to try more foods when he has a hand in making it himself. I try to plan out nice meals even when the meal may not be very fancy. I like to try to present the meal nicely.
My cooking triumphs
Homemade angel food cake from scratch!
My cooking tragedies
Being impatient and burning things, not timing out meals right (bread is too late, or food is overcooked.) =(.
