I am about to be a 30 year old kid. I love the outdoors and the flavors of the earth. Fresh gourmet meals thanks to the love my mother put into her cooking and sharing them with me. She should have had her own army to feed, but instead had myself along with 3 other siblings. She raised me to not desire salty foods thanks due to her high blood pressure. Unfortunately now and then, I splurge. However, I do excersize and love the grow fresh veggies and herbs in the garden. I'm learning a lot about fruit trees and how to help them survive the winter spell if anyone has tips for me there. I am a mother of two beautiful blonde haired blue eye angels. They both request my cooking over anything (except darned old Mc'D's Happy Meals once in a while.) We have our fun there too on occasions. Growing up as a kid and now a mother I have experienced many flavors and gained appreciation to wholesome produce versus the canned. As they always say, steer for the outside of the store where I am a full time office administrator as well. So my family time comes before recipes on the interenet. So bare with me as I slowly gain a collection of recipes. I love Greek, Thai, and Mexican. They call me the "The little white mexican girl" cause I love the stuff! Just put me there! Thai well that is in my blood already so how's that for starters? I have Cherokee Indian in my veins for sure! Some German too. :] Getting the meal started with my girls. They have to want to do this with me to include them. Each child of mine has their favorite meals to cook. My youngest is into Greek Pasta Salad and my oldest is a Ramen Noodle freak. Where does Ramen Noodles come to play anyway? Many good and undiscovered! I have been married 3 years and gained 15 pounds. Does newly wed still exist as an excuse for good cooking and being overweight? Oh I should not share these with anyone. :) Salty Lasagna with brocolli! Yuck!
