About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Everything!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas and Easter I make pierogies. Not the nasty kind you get in the frozen section either! So fattening and time consuming but sooo worth it.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn
Oh YUM! A student of mine told me about this recipe and I just made it on my own. It was amazing. She told me to make it more chewy to skip baking it and she was very right. The student has taught the teacher a new trick!

Sarah's Applesauce
I add some vanilla to the recipe and take a little bit of the sugar away. It is fantastic. I personally don't like applesauce, was making this for the kids, and even I loved it! I used my magic bullet to make it smooth. I now have an excellent baby food also. Thanks!
