About this Cook
I myself am a novice when it comes to the kitchen. I am great with the easy stuff and I'm able to even create some fantastic recipes myself, but I'm just learning to expand my culinary horizons.
My favorite things to cook
I am GREAT when it comes to baking. ANYTHING. Baking is definitely my thing. I am really into cooking fish, Chicken & ANYTHING Pasta. I'm a great Italian cook looking to expand on that.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm an Irish girl. My great grandmother was a caterer/restraunt owner. My grandmother was a cake decorator and an amazing cook which my mother definitely inherited & passed down to me along with MILLIONS of awesome recipes. I am serious when I say cooking is in my blood. I have several Irish and Swedish recipes that I'm very attached to.
My cooking triumphs
I've completed 2 cake decorating courses and I'm getting very good in the kitchen when it comes to meals now too. This site has helped me a lot.
My cooking tragedies
None so far...

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce
This is the best alfredo sauce I've ever had. Before I made it for the first time, The idea of Cream Cheese in alfredo sauce was questionable to me, but when I tried it, It was amazing! This is better than ANY store bought sauce I've tried. It's delicious! My boyfriend loved it so much he kept snacking on it after dinner. Not much leftover! It will be a staple in our house for sure. I did use fresh chopped garlic instead of powder, but I'm a fresh herbs kinda girl, so I'm sure it's great either way.

Stuffed Mushrooms with Spinach
These are amazing! Staple appetizer in my house. Everyone that has tried them has loved them. Substitute the parmesan cheese for Feta if you're feeling adventurous. It gives it a real kick.
