I'm a freelance writer, living in Montreal, and I love trying new recipes. Now that I'm married, I've got someone else to cook for, which is way more exciting than trying to trim back recipes just for myself. Anything exotic, so long as I can find the ingredients! Kinda white trash: tuna swirls, chicken parmagiana, lots of meat n potatoes. Simple stuff usually goes over well at my house, but everyone loves my lasagna (with or without meat). Anything that involves too many steps, too much prep time (aka "do this the night before!") or too many hard-to-find ingredients that I've made unfortunate substitutes for.
