Best Brownies
These really are the "Best Brownies". They are very addicting. I didn't have any powdered sugar so when they came out of the oven I tossed on a half bag of dark chocolate chips, waited for them to melt, then spread the chocolate around evenly. I also used dark chocolate cocoa powder. Since ovens vary along with cooking times for batch sizes, I'd suggest using the "toothpick" rule. When it gets close to the suggested cooking time, insert a toothpick in the middle, if it comes out clean, it's done, otherwise, put the brownies back in the oven for a few more minutes.

Sugar Glazed Walnuts
This is my families favorite snack. I prefer to use pecans and brown sugar. I also like to add an extract, usually vanilla but raspberry or other fruit flavor works well too, about 1 tspn. I also tried lime juice and chili powder and/or cayenne pepper, both were great adds. For the holiday's, I pour the glazed nuts, hot out of the microwave, straight over a fudge pie just before baking.

Saltine Toffee Cookies
This is one of my favorite recipes! I use graham crackers instead of saltines though, preferrably chocolate grahams.
