I come for a big Italian family so my favorite thing to make is pasta sauce, meet sauce to be exact. It's the only thing I cook by heart; there's no recipe, and it's a little different every time. Every year we go to my little Nana's house a week or so before Christmas and make ravioli from scratch. It's a long, crazy process and I would never EVER want to do it alone but with family it's a good time. I was told recently that I made the best pancakes a friend had ever had, but that's mostly thanks to my obsession with Alton Brown. Nonetheless, it made me very happy. My roommate is also crazy about a bourbon chicken recipe I make, but that's from this cite so it's not really me. I also made a killer lemon marange pie, crust and all, that made me feel like a baking gnagsta.
