I love the way these cookies consistently turn out good! They are definitely a crowd pleaser because they are both crunch and soft. I do sub the 3 cups of flour with 1 cup of oatmeal (ran through a blender/food processor) and 2 cups of flour. Also, I find that margarine or shortening make for a softer, thicker cookie than real butter. I have been making these for years, but had to finally review them because I brought a batch to work and they were all gone by 11am!
