Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

I found the gravy just a bit overwhelming, even though I love blue cheese. However, thinking back, I may have added more blue cheese than called for. It was a very good recipe though, will make again with possibly a couple alterations on the gravy.

Nanny's Spaghetti Sauce

This is a really good and easy recipe. I didn't have any red wine, so I ommitted that. Otherwise the recipe pretty much stayed as is. I was serving with meatballs, and the tomatoes were a bit too chunky, so I gave the chunky pieces a quick run through the blender, which actually gave it the perfect texture! Now the new sauce for our meatballs!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

I did add some parmesan, italian seasoning and garlic to the meat mixture, but with those changes, this is my new go-to meatball recipe. So easy too!

Linda's Lasagna

This turned out wonderful & was SO easy! I changed it a bit, using ground turkey, ricotta instead of cottage cheese, 2% mozzarella, whole wheat pasta and added mushrooms. This one will be made frequently!

Chicken Puffs

These were good, but not great, although my daughter ate them until she was so full she was ill! I will make again, but will alter a bit, maybe some shredded cheese or other additions to give it a little more flavor.

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

These are amazing! Even my 12 year old daughter had seconds! We topped with fresh spinach, tomatoes, and either blue cheese or mozzarella on whole wheat buns. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. The stuffing and sauce is a bit overpowering, so I will keep that in mind for my side dishes next time I make it or change the stuffing mix to bread crumbs. I did have to cook my chicken a bit longer as it wasn't cooked thouroughly. Also very good if you substitute the swiss with mozzarella.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Sausage Gravy III

Very yummy, my family loved it! I was a bit hesitant about the butter first, but it turned out great. This is a foolproof recipe for those who have had trouble getting the right consistency in their gravy. I will be making this again!
