Mexican Casserole

Very good! I didn't really mess with it too much, it probably would have been just fine as-is. I use a whole pound of chicken, added an extra cup of cheese, and a quarter cup extra of chips. I also didn't add any extra water, but I didn't drain the corn in order to compensate. I thought this was really good, and easy!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
absolutely delicious. This dip has become a staple at family barbeques. My supermarket doesn't carry the leek soup mix so I use vegetable soup mix and it turns out great! Also I use the entire package of spinach. Make sure to squeeze dry that spinach well!

Good, but not great. The recipe screams for more sauce. It also needs more seasoning...it's bland. With these changes it could be 5 star

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
Delicious! I followed several other suggestions from viewers. First, I used a small cheese grater to cover the entire cake with butter (worked like a dream). Second, I topped with about a half cup of brown sugar sprinkled on top of the butter. I just sprinkled the cinnamon on top of that. In the future, I may try adding more peaches. I like a lot of fruit. Just a personal preference, though.

My Best Clam Chowder

Wonderful soup! My husband says the best he's ever tasted. I followed the advice of others and fried up some bacon and cooked the veggies in the bacon fat. I also crumbled the bacon and added it to the soup. I will make this again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
My husband absolutely adored it! I followed the suggestions of others and doubled the meat and golden mushroom soup, added 1/2 packet of onion soup mix, and I added a dollop of sour cream to the sauce in addition to the cream cheese. I do not care for mushrooms so I didn't add any extra mushrooms (although my husband would have liked that)! This was both easy and very good. I cooked for 5 hours on low and that was perfect. I served it over buttered egg noodles. I will make this again.

Linda's Lasagna

Really good, I followed the recipe except that I cooked the onion with the ground beef (less dishes) and I added fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. I used cottage cheese like the recipe called for and I mixed it with the parmesean and egg with an emersion blender. It took away any chunkyness associated with the cottage cheese. Really good. A hit with my husband!

Supreme Strawberry Topping

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I have used this recipe several times and I absolutely love it! I, like another reviewer, prefer to leave out some of the strawberries until after I've blended the cooked mixture, since I really like larger chunks of strawberries. I cut them into thirds or forths, depending on size and add them after blending the rest. I continue to let them cook for a little while and add the vanilla at the end! Delicious, especially over the New York Cheesecake III on this website!

New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
After his first bite, my husband got down on his knees and wrapped his arms around my waist and called me a saint. Truly, this cheesecake is fabulous. I did make several minor changes: I added vanilla, the zest of one lemon, and juice from half the lemon. Also, I used a graham cracker crust (a recipe from this site), I just thought my husband would like this better. I did, however, get a crack. I don't know why, maybe because I opened the oven door after the timer went off. I won't open it next time. It didn't matter, though, it was fabulous! For a topping I made a strawberry sauce recipe (also from the site), delicious!
