About this Cook
I am a college student who got tired of eating boring microwave meals and decided to explore a more tasty lifestyle.
My favorite things to cook
Biscuits and Gravy and extravagant desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Biscuits and Gravy for my friends and family during conference weekend twice a year.
My cooking triumphs
Every time I make a new item that I've never made before that turned out well.
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking I mistook 1 tsp. of Vanilla for 1 cup. Enough to say that batch of cookies were something else.

Broccoli Beef I
This recipe is great for a easy and quick family meal. My family enjoyed it. We did follow the directions from previous reviewers and doubled the seasoning and broth, although, I think next time we'll only times the broth by 1 1/2 instead. My wife cut the meat into cubes, but after eating it I would have preferred strips. Great quick dinner, highly recommend it.

Asian Chicken Noodle Salad
This is a great salad. It's sweet, crunchy, and offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables in the mix. This a salad that goes great as a side dish to any entree or alone in a bowl. My wife and I have made the recipe with and without the chicken and preferred it without chicken as simply a side salad. We changed the recipe a little by decreasing the dressing by half (we noticed there was a lot of dressing pooled in the bottom of the bowl when fully prepared) and replaced pine nuts with slivered almonds (pine nuts are just so expensive). We've shared this salad with family and everyone approved. We will be adding it to our recipe box.

1-Dish Chicken Parmesan
I wasn't a big fan of this dish. I made the recipe as listed and found that there was too much yeast for as little of breading that is prepared. My breading grew over the chicken and the marinara sauce until I had made a chicken marinara pocket. It had the overlying taste of yeast. Not my favorite recipe.
