Horseshoes
Look at the recipe "Horseshoe" for a more authentic version. My recipe comes from the Leland Hotel--the original version.I add a Tabs. of Lea and Perrine's and about a cup of beer to my sauce--not half and half. Sauce can be a s thick as you like. Real Horseshoe sandwiches use Cheddar-not American cheese!

Best Breakfast Cookie
Scrumptious!I LOVE this cookie! They never last long--but can be frozen nicely. I add an extra teas. cinnamon, a teas. of pumpkin pie spice, a little extra vanilla, and I use 3 large whole eggs and an extra 1/2 cup of applesauce. No nuts--I add dried blueberries, cherries, or cranberries. I usually cook them 9-11 minutes on parchment.
