My Grandma tried and tried to teach me to cook as a child but I never paid attention. When she found out that she had breast cancer she gave me a huge collection of her recipes, with hopes that I would one day succeed in the culinary arts. Now that I have a family, I finally understand what she was trying to teach me had a lot more to do with love than food.

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup
I had a surplus of tomatoes this year and decided to try this recipe. I made a few adjustments to make it vegetarian friendly and the result was very yummy! This recipe is a keeper!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.
This cupcakes turned out perfectly and tasted like a dream! I used prepackaged cookie dough to save time, and devils food cake mix and vanilla buttercream frosting. Next time I will make my own cookie dough so I can omit the eggs, which to me was the only drawback. Still this recipe gets 5 stars!

Pasta Pizza
I think this recipe was quite tasty. I wonder though...why people give low reviews for recipes based on ingredients that they don't like? If you don't like mushrooms, why even make it? Or why not substitute something in place of the mushrooms? That type of review doesn't hold much merit. Give the mushroom the low rating, not the recipe.
