Pumpkin Custard Pie
Our family has always preferred the custard pumpkin pie vs. the regular pie. It has a very mild flavor with a nice creamy texture. We made it exactly like the recipe called for - it turned out perfect. Make sure to let it come to room temperature before slicing it.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
I was so excited to try this recipe - especially with all the great reviews. I was greatly disappointed with the results. The recipe was very easy and the texture of the cake was wonderful as well, but it truly tastes like a "doctored boxed cake mix"!!!! I'm going to try adding coffee instead of water and top the cake with ganache - like others have suggested. Not a bad cake, but definitely not over the top flavor.
