About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love try new recipes, but family classics are my favorite. Especially those out of old church cookbooks.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family always has big breakfasts on Sunday mornings. My dad always makes the eggs, hasbrowns, and sausage and my mother makes the pancakes or waffles.
My cooking triumphs
I made a risotto and it turned out beautifully. Also, I had my perfectionist aunts over for dinner and pleased them with my culinary skills.
My cooking tragedies
I attempted to make fried green tomatoes and started a grease fire.

Risotto with Tomato, Corn and Basil
It was delicious and easy to make. I didn't get tired at all from the stirring. I used frozen corn, which I didn't think mattered. I loved the fresh basil in this recipe.

Guy Approved Meatloaf
I only used 1 lb of meatloaf and cut the ingredients by a 1/3rd. Turned out great. I also didn't have any foil.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes
These potatoes were awesome. I doubled the sauce recipe after reading some reviews. I served them with the gorgonzola and apple pork chops which complemented them nicely. The bitter sweet taste was great.
