I travel for a living, and bought a house 3 years ago, I am only home 3 months out of the year. I find that cooking on the road isn't cooking. We mostly eat frozen pasta meals and fast food. When I am home in my big kitchen, I find myself wanting to make all kinds of things! So far I think I have a flair for Italian cooking. The recipes I have tried in this flavor have gone over well with everyone. I have decided meatloaf sucks. My mom cooks the best chicken and dumplings. It is more of a casserole than a traditional dumpling. I am afraid to try the recipe. I have been waiting for her to come and visit, so we can make it together. I made chicken roll ups the other night. My boys loved them. I have also made a chicken parmesan, from scratch/ the sauce and all!!, I will most definitly try it again. My meatloaf was horrible!! It didn't cook all the way through and then when I finally got it done, it was very bland.
