These cookies were flavourless. Adding more vanilla and mixing in the chocolate chips, instead of just placing them, helped a little.

This recipe was tasty enough. We used fresh, not canned pineapple. However, my kids described the texture of the beef as "fuzzy". The pineapple in the marinade also acts as a natural tenderizer. Next time, I will add the pineapple chunks when we are ready to grill the skewers. Still, there was nothing left on the platter.
