Retired. I love to cook and bake everything, but making all kinds of bread is IT for me. Particularly like cooking for others and homemade pasta is the most asked for. Coming from an Italian background I learned the how-to's from my mother and grandmothers. Cooking for a crowd of more than 50. Homemade pasta and meatballs for a local adult day care where the clients happily participated in cranking out some of the pasta was great for everyone. Not too many tragedies but one time i reached for the cornstarch and poured baking soda into what turned out to be an awful gravy! Threw it away and started over.
