I was leary of the lard in this one but since I had it on hand went ahead and tried it. I followed the recipe but did add about a tsp of almond flavoring to the dough. These cookies turned out fabulous! The dough was easy to work with. The cookies are really very good. This recipe was exactly what I was looking for!

Sue's Hot Fudge Sauce

When I was a child my dad made fudge sauce for ice cream a few times. Years passed and then he couldn't remember how he made it. I have tried so many hot fudge recipes. None tasted anything like I remembered...until now. This is it!! I am so excited to find this recipe after searching for so many years. It brings back many fond memories. Thank you for sharing this one!
