I am a stay at home mom to a beautiful little boy, Greyson, and wife to Jason. I love to cook "home-style" food, Classic favorites like chicken pot pie, pot roast, lazagna. I am always looking for great new casseroles and one dish meals. I absolutely love to use my slow cooker; I love the smell in my house. My family's cooking traditions lean towards german dishes and feel good staples. We like rich food, full of flavor and texture. I won county, state, and regional cooking competitions when I was 17 with my Grandama's favorite recipes. I always seem to burn the bottom of my cakes, and can't ever seem to get them level when I make them.....They may not be pretty, but they sure taste good.
