My Chicken Milano
About this Cook
Not much to say. I grew up in a sugar free, fat free, cholestral free, sodium free, kosher and vegetarian household. I recently got a place of my own so now I have the freedom to cook anything I want. I love it!
My favorite things to cook
I have this amazing marinade I concocted myself with mustard, soy sauce and a few other things. I love making steak in it! I also love making deserts and...oh who am I kidding, if I have the recipe and ingredients, I'll cook anything and say it was my favorite. It's all so much fun!
My favorite family cooking traditions
None. See my about me section. My father's idea of fine cusine was his stir fry. His definition of stir fry? Grab all the leftovers in the fridge that are under a month old, stir together in a pan and serve. Ew.
My cooking triumphs
I made an incredible cheesecake. I wanted to take a picture but it had a small crack and...well for a living my main task is to use photoshop. I knew if I photographed it I'd only photoshop the imperfection out.
My cooking tragedies
None so far. Maybe cooking too much food? Hopefully it stays this way, but stay tuned for my inevitable first failure!

Tater Crisp Chicken
Tasty recipe. My cousin, such a finicky eater that I needed to abandon most of my recipes, ate 3 large legs! I'm giving this only a 3 as with butter the flakes didn't stick too well and it ended up crunchy in some parts and overly greasy in others. It also would have been a bit too bland had I not added salt and pepper to the flakes. I'm going to try this again someday with an egg instead and we'll see how it goes.

Spicy Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup
I made this recipe with chicken brother and without sesame oil (I couldn't justify $8 for a tablespoon of something I'd never use again). This was definitely not the kind of food I would eat, it was a very unique taste. However, the other person I made this dish for LOVED it. She couldn't stop raving about it and due to the fact I didn't care that much for its taste, insisted she take home the leftovers (and the curry paste)! This was definitely a unique recipe and aside from all the prep work (chopping up vegetables), insanely easy to make. Thanks for posting it!

Chicken Milano
It was okay. Generally I rate on some combination of prep time/effort versus taste. This took a bit of time to prepare. I followed the recipes and the suggestions in the review, but my sauce never thickened. It was okay, but I'd probably just make the sauce and throw it over pasta rather than making the whole thing.
