Great Recipe
Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
About this Cook
I've been married to my husband for one awesome year! We have two Scottie dogs, and we live in beautiful Cundys Harbor, Maine's oldest and still opperational commerical fishing village. I work as a real estate agent and enjoy traveling.
My favorite things to cook
Well, I'm still learning, so almost everything is new and exciting. Right now I like just about anything that turns out yummy and makes people smile.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the big meals my mother always put together. Everything was planned out carefully and the meal was the centerpiece for great conversation.
My cooking triumphs
I hosted my first Christmas last year and I had to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a week for all of my family. Stressfull at times, yes! but overall things went smoothly which was a great triumph for me!
My cooking tragedies
There are a lot of tragedies when you're just starting out. I'm still learning! But my biggest would have to be that I can't seem to make a lemon meringue pie no matter how many times I try!

Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse
I took another person's suggestion and put my in chocolate toasting cups (they are hard to find, so look around prior) In these small toasting cups they made a delightful dessert. They recieved rave reviews! Easy to prepare ahead, just don't put them in the freezer beacause your chocolate cups will melt! Just store them in the fridge if you make them ahead of time.

Double-Layer Pumpkin Pie
The flavor of pumpkin is lost in this pie. It tasted far too much like vanilla pudding. Plus, my filling was not solid enough, it fell apart when cut even after hours of refrigeration. A big disappointment.
