Loved the taste of this salad . I did change abit....added apple and grapes and a little bit of curry , squeeze of lemon juice. I had it on a bed of baby lettuce for lunch and it was great . I'm sure it will be even better tomorrow

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
I wraped with bacon and grilled my filets. Before putting them on the grill leave out of frig for a least 20 to take the chill off . I made the sauce with 1/2 cup balsamic, 1/3 red wine , 1 tbl brown sugar and 1 clove garlic minced . Let that simmer on low for about an hour . Drizzle over filets .yummmmmm

Sausage-Filled Stars

I made this for Christmas . I thought they were pretty good but felt a bit guilty due to the fact that they are very fattening. The presentation with the green and red pepper looked great but next time I would work on making it lighter

I made this recipe as stated and I can only give 4 * It needed something....maybe more spice , less sugar and some nuts . I will make again but will tweak . The flavor of the pumpkin was very light. It did take longer then 60 minutes to bake

I made this last night with fresh ground beef from the butcher . This was fantastic. I do do some subsitutions, 1 bunch of scallions instead of onion and I added 1/2 greeen pepper and 1 jalapeno. Made to glaze with less br. sugar and put it on top. My husband and i thought it was the best I have made ( I have been cooking a loooong time )Don't forget to drain the grease at least 3 times . needed over on hour to cook

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
I make this day before my company came so great for ease and clean-up !i thought this was a great recipe but... I would decrease the paste to one can . I thought the sauce was tasty but didn't need the other can. It made for a very thick sauce . I used hot sausage and it was even better warmed up for lunch the next day ! Thanks

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
Good , but did not knock my socks off ! I did use 1/2 applesause for oil and 1 of the sugars was brown and did increase the spices a bit. I think it needs some nuts or raisens or maybe the choco chip. I know it will not go to waste because I'm bringing it work !
