I made this for three different people, and they all really liked it, especially my father-in-law. He loved the fact that each slice was loaded with "goodies." It's hard for me to personally rate this, since I'm not a carrot/raisin fan. It was easy to make; however, and, it looks nice when sliced.

I was trying to match a fantastic poppy seed bread that I purchase at a Mennonite bakery, the best I've ever tasted. I've tried several other similar receipes and this is the closest I've come. I'll definitely make this a "regular bake" at my house.

This is a great, super simple recipe. It was a little better when I added an extra egg (2 eggs total) and another 1/4 cup of butter. A little heavier, but better.
