I am 24 years old, a recent college graduate, and the wife of a wonderful and hard working man. We try to lead a healthy/organic lifestyle so the less added junk the better! Cheesecake is my forte. I love baking from scratch, especially homemade breads and desserts. My dad's side of the family are all INCREDIBLE cooks! But they all do a lot of stove-top cooking (scallops in lemon-butter...shrimp penne...and lots of stuff using "the trinity"). I am a baker at heart, which makes me a bit of a trend setter in the family, if it goes in the oven, I'm on it. But I did inherit my dad's talent for smoking/grilling meat, now if I could only figure out his sauces... My first cherry pie completely from scratch. It was for Thanksgiving, and I made people take pictures of me posing with it. I'm a nerd. I made chili that was way too salty once, other than that I have been very, very lucky!
