There's nothing much to say about me... I'm a total nerd who spends most of the time in front of a computer and the rest in the kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
I love foreign food. I also love new challenges in cooking and discovering new flavor profiles. Also I seem to be a wiz at making cookies, I experiment with them alot and they just seem to turn out right. (barring the occasional overcooking)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have many family cooking traditions, I mostly remember Hamburger Helper for dinner. But, there is one little thing. My grandmother used to make the best breakfasts when I was a kid, and she always put Poultry seasoning in the scrambled eggs, and to this day I still love it in my eggs.
My cooking triumphs
I guess my most recent triumph would be making mochi and daifuku (sweet red bean filled mochi) for first time, and it actually turned out wonderful, almost as good as the real ones I've had... just nowhere as pretty.
My cooking tragedies
I can't really think of any, not that I don't have any, I just can't think of one now. I'm the kind of person who likes to overthink things as to prevent said cooking tragedies. I'll get back to ya on this.
