White Chocolate Snack Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
This is a great recipe! I love how you can add anything you want! I use both white and peanut butter chips, red and green m&m's, shreddies, salted peanuts and mini salted pretzels.

Apple Muffins

These muffins were excellent. I took the advise of another review and added the 'crumble' top, doubled the cinnamon and apples.

Easy Spicy Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I give these 5 stars because they are great! I make them slightly different; I use three tbsp. of onion soup mix and olive oil. I put the potatoes in a plastic resealable bag and toss them in the olive oil and onion soup mix. I have used other spice/herb combinations but the onion soup mix is by far our families favorite! Great recipe!

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I've been using this recipe for as long as I've been making cookies and they are fantastic. I do change things up a little bit- I don't use peanuts, I use chocolate chunks, M&M's or chocolate chips. They are really great with that added bit of sweetness!

Baked Omelet

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This recipe is so great- it really gives the opportunity to add a bunch of different ingrediants. I actually modified this a little bit. I used 6 eggs, just about 1/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup water (it stays just as fluffy), shredded fresh parmesan, mushrooms, red onion and threw in some three cheese blend shredded cheese. I've also made a meat lover's baked omelet as well with some left over bacon, sausage and ham. Excellent recipe!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I made this recipe for a party and it was fantastic. I did add a bit more jalapenos for more bite- some people found it too spicy but those of us that love spicy food- couldn't get enough of it. I added crushed ritz crackers and parmesan cheese to the top. Excellent recipe- I'll definately make this again!!

Artichoke Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
I made this for a party we had recently. I used fresh shredded parm instead of grated and I added about a 1/2 cup extra mozza. and covered the top of the dip before I put it in the oven. I used quartered artichokes in water and just cut them up into smaller pieces. This dip was wonderful and I served it with french bread cut into chunks. Thanks for the recipe

Valentine Night Strawberries

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
These were pretty tasty. I felt like they were missing something though. I would probably make these again but sprinkle chocolate on them or something. I also had a really hard time getting the filling in the strawberries- I cut them properly and I went almost to the bottom of the berry but I couldn't get them to open up at all and some of them barely had any cream cheese in them. I didn't find these the easiest to make- but it was probably just the berries I was using.

Death By Chocolate III

we had this for a potluck event at work. The pudding was made with 1% milk and fat free chocolate pudding. It was really good- and very sweet. Great recipe

Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
I made these granola bars today and they were really good. They are chewy, I did increase the honey and melted the butter (from another review). Melting the butter worked great. They were really tasty and the family loved them! Thanks for the recipe- I'll definately make these again. UPDATE- I froze about half of the granola bars and I just took the rest out of the freezer- they are fantastic frozen! Also, when cutting the granola bars, I cut them into 36 pieces instead of 18 because they are quite thick. The smaller serving sizes are perfect for the kids lunches. UPDATE: I made these again yesterday but instead of chocolate chips, I added dried cranberries and they are absolutely fantastic. I also changed the type of honey I used, this time I used amber honey which was a little stronger than what I had before and I like the darker honey better- it has a litte more flavor. And, as always, I used 3 1/2 c. oats, 1 cup rice crispies and increased the honey.

Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
I made these today and my kids and husband loved them! I did add a few milk chocolate chips to the tops of the muffins before I put them in the oven. I did have to bake them for quite a bit longer than 15-20 minutes, but I made large muffin size cupcakes. I think I will add a bit more peanut butter the next time I make them- I found the peanut buttery taste wasn't strong enough for me (or perhaps I'll try natural peanut butter; it was mentioned in a few other reviews. Thanks for the recipe! So I made these again last week; I added chocolate chips (just a handful) to the batter prior to cooking them- they were great! I also used brown sugar splenda instead of regular brown sugar and used whole wheat flour instead of white. Now, my husband liked the one's made with white flour better- but the kids didn't even notice a difference (and neither did I)

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
We made this recipe today and it is fantastic! I cut the cloves down to 1/2 tsp because of some of the reviews and they turned out perfectly! The dough was easy to work with (I just laid a piece of parchment paper on my counter lightly floured) and I found it was fine. The cookies are moist and very very tasty! My daughter has already asked me if I could make these again! Great recipe, thanks for sharing. Just to keep you all updated- these stayed moist for days in my cookie jar. Great cookie- didn't dry out at all

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

these are by far THE BEST! I was looking for something with chocolate and oatmeal and came across these. They are fantastic! My daughter helped me make them but I had to walk away from the cookie dough because I could not stop eating it!!!! Thanks for this recipe, I will make it over and over again!

Oven-Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
These fries were very tasty! I did add a little extra chilli powder and I broiled them for a few minutes to see if I could get them crispy. Unfortunately, they didn't get crispy but they still tasted fantastic- my kids loved them!

Never Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I always use this recipe but I use milk chocolate chips, they're less bitter. I also use whole wheat flour instead of white and it gives the cookies an entirely new taste, both versions are great.
