Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Just finished making this and it turned out perfect. I was worried about the butter not mixing properly with the sugar so i added 2 extra TBSP , i also used dark brown sugar. I stirred constantly until butter melted then occasionally as the the instructions indicated. I removed from heat when it reached 300' F. added a splash of vanilla per another reviewers suggestion , used pure milk chocolate and toasted pecans. TOO DIE FOR!! Thanks for the keeper.

Concord Grape Jelly

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This is how i make grape jelly all the time, but i do not add water and i use wild grapes... the flavour of the grape is better if no water is added. You do have to use more grapes to get the cups needed to make the jelly.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was simple and good...only had grainy mustard so not sure if that made a big difference. I think some sort of a sauce...just a little would make it better. I used frozed salmon. Thanks

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
Very Very Good! Would make this for company. I had bought chicken breasts with bone in so that is what i used, i did have to cook it longer so i also added white wine while it was simmering. Other than that i followed it to the "T". Thanks....will make this often.

Mom's Stovetop Pork Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
This was easy to prepare and the whole house smelled so good while it was simmering. I did let it simmer for two hours and couldn't wait to let all the water boil down; they were sooooo good. Even our 12 yr. old neighbor ate them! Would also make this for company! Thanks!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Not that this needs yet another review but it was so good, even a picky 12 year old ate it...i did not put any heat in it for her but next time i will. I did use some suggestions from others and used bacon drippings instead of oil, used home-made chicken stock and frozen from my garden tomatoes. Will make this often. Thanks.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Very easy and so good! Didn't have taco seasonings so i used fajita seasonings and it worked out well. I used homemade salsa and served with rice to soak up the extra juices. Will make this again. Thanks!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
Made this weekend and it was a hit! Took some advice from other reviewers and made the following changes. I brushed the tortillas with melted butter and sprinkled with the cinnamon sugar, then baked for 11 min. 30 sec. and they were nice and crisp. I did use frozen raspberries and frozen blueberries, but i drained then for awhile before i added them. I also put my chopped apples in water and lemon juice while i made the salsa and they did not brown. I had some cinnamon chips left over and they are like cookies...we love them! Thanks...can't wait for summer fresh fruit.
