Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
I like that this recipe is very easy to make. Following other users' suggestion, I used water to dilute the soy sauce and baked the pork chops in the marinade. The basic flavor is good.... but next time I would add something sweet or some spice to make the flavor more complex. Next time, I will also sear the chops instead of bake it to get more of a crisp crust.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Good recipe with nice flavors. I am generous with the spices, and I especially like to use more cayenne than the recipe calls for to get that extra kick.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Good basic recipe. I used a mix of red and golden yukon potatoes for a more creamy texture and taste.

Honey Flaked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
I crushed the corn flakes slightly to coat the chicken more evenly. We were out of milk, but had about 1 tbsp of half and half. To supplement, I used orange-flavored aloe vera drink (OKF Brand) - this added a very subtle citrus taste and kept the honey from becoming too runny. To the honey-cream-juice, I added sea salt, onion, garlic, thyme, cayenne pepper, paprika and black pepper. End result was extremely tender and juicy chicken. Went perfectly with steamed brussel sprouts tossed in sea salt, black pepper, and sesame oil.
