I am a new mommy who works 40 + hours/week! I need recipes that are quick and simple so I am always looking for ways to simplify life. I feel that is how my recipes are reflected as well. I love messing with ingredients and creating something completely accidentally! Casseroles are the best to do this with. I also LOVE Christmas and am constantly creating new treats for the holidays. My mom's family is from the Czech Republic so I love having breads made from Czechoslovakia! (Especially kolaches!) I truly enjoy baking because of this as well! My triumphs are always accidents! I make a KILLER caramel sauce for ice cream because my caramel didn't turn out! I needed to get rid of a carton of eggnog so I created fudge that turned out AMAZING! Divinity is the DEVIL! I have tried it several times and it just doesn't set up correctly... once my friend and I even put it in the freezer to try to set it and an hour later- we opened up a divinty covered freezer! WHAT A MESS!!
