Needs more salt and heat. Other than that its a good base recipe.

Really good! It had PLENTY of sauce, no need to increase, although it was so tasty we at every last drop! Thanks for this inspired pork dish!

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I used half&half instead of milk (because I wanted to use some up), also added blueberries (increased cooking time) . I also left the dough in a sort of round and cut them into 6-8 even pieces then baked whole. Came out moist and delicious! Will try with more traditional currants next time! Thanks for the recipe!

Yellow Squash Casserole

I also added bacon. And then cooked the onion in the bacon fat. I think this is a great recipe! Much better than the canned soup variety! Anyway, squash +milk +bacon = tasty.

Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
This is a great recipe! I just made a few changes. I used less sugar, I dressed the potatoes mere seconds before serving, and I used extra bacon. It came out great everyone loved it! No one missed the mayo! I do rec. you dress right before serving and make sure the potatoes are nice and warm so they soak up all the flavor!

Slow-Cooked Steak Fajitas

I skipped the jalapeno and used anaheim peppers instead. I also prepared all the onions and red peppers separately so they would be crunchy. Came out great! This is a good weeknight meal.

Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Orzo

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Came out great! I only cooked one cup of orzo and it was enough for four sides. I served with simple italian herb chicken and salad. It also tasted good the next day. Definitely something you can make ahead of time for picnics and what not.

No Bake Cookies III

I decreased the sugar to 1 and a half cups. It would have been too sweet otherwise. I also used all natural peanut butter. This came out pretty runny but it didn't matter to me the taste was great! Next time I will boil for 2 minutes instead of 1 as other reviewers have suggested. Thanks for this, it was a childhood favorite of mine!

I have to go middle of the road with this because half the people like it and half of people didn't. I fall into the did not like it group. It was missing something, and it smelled funny. If I were more adventurous with my money I would try it again.

Best Chicken Ever

Chicken was moist and delicious! I changed this a little though: I used grill seasoning instead of the recommended italian, and I used finely crushed corn tortilla chips because I was all out of cornflakes (oops!) it still came out great! Thanks for the recipe!

I made this recipe as directed but I scaled it down a little. It felt like it was missing something (maybe cream cheese? more onions?) I'm not sure. It's defintley a good base recipe though!

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

I couldn't believe these, and my boys couldn't either. They loved them! I followed this recipe exactly EXCEPT I added some 71% dark chocolate which I grated into the batter, I only put in like 1/4 of a bar. I wanted to make sure they were chocolately enough and they definetly were.

I did not use the dressing from this recipe but I followed all other steps exactly. I doubled this recipe for my b-day party and it was a smash! The dressing wasn't necessary but I let people have their pick of bottled dressings anyway. Thanks!
