Really great super chocolatey cookies! They're very different than a typical cookie, almost cake-like. To cut down the fat and calories, I used half splenda, half sugar, and half butter/ half applesauce, but be sure to beat in the applesauce later, just before you add in the dry ingredients. Applesauce will only create a weird texture if beaten too much. I made one batch with white chips, and the other with dark chips and mini M&Ms. Delicious!
