Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup
I had considered giving this soup 5 stars, (because it does turn out great) but I didn't because when I made it, it was missing something..then I found it. It needed some depth to the flavor. In the past I would add wine or sherry to my soups to kick it up a notch. Since I did not have any, I added some jelly, about a tablespoon. (an old trick of mine..sometimes I use fruit juice). Try it, it is what this recipe is missing. Add wine or a bit or jelly. I used Blackberry All fruit.

Salsa Chicken
So easy to make and SO very delicious! I pound the chicken breasts and cut them in half (if they are big.) I also add about 1/2 cup of corn. Tonight I used PINEAPPLE SALSA and it was YUMMY!

Apple Peanut Spinach Salad
OMG where have you been all my life!!! I only had a few choice ingredients in my fridge. The salad had almost all of them. I am a cooking idiot but I love to eat. I didn't have cidar vinegar but I had apple cidar. I also did not have rasions. I subed curry paste for powder. What a great tasting salad!!
