Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
OH MY! This turned out so very good! I could have eaten them as a meal--and probably will next time! The only change we made was use canned petite diced tomatoes because we had them on hand, but it was still wonderful. Thanks!

Mexican Lasagna I

Like other reviewers, I cut the amount of water in half and it worked out very well. I also eliminated the refried beans and it was enjoyed by all. Thanks.

Green Onion-Parmesan Mornay Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
My husband made this and it is the best I have ever eaten. He made the Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells from this site and used this sauce to bake instead of the tomato called for in that recipe. I cannot express how rich and cheesy they were--I crave this stuff!

Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
HEAVENLY!! Though we made a few changes, in lieu of one of the chicken breasts, we used 1/2 lb italian sausage--YUM. Also, instead of the red sauce, we covered these with the green onion-parmesan mornay sauce from this site which was so very rich and cheesy! Had some shells left over and those we put red sauce and cheese on. Two totally different flavors, but both very good! Excellent recipe that we will use for guests in the future! Thanks!

N'Awlins Stuffed Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
These were awesome!! Much better than the usual beef and tomato pepper I've always had. Surpised at how moist they were considering the amount of breading used, but they were delicious. Great recipe and will be making it again.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
We made these one night when we didn't want to cook dinner, and we had everything on hand. I was very skeptical of putting brown sugar on them, but they were very good! I wanted something to dip them in, and used some green onion dip we had in the fridge. Pretty good, though I may try a dip that I saw for these on this website next time. Yummy...thanks!

Rosemary-Scented Pork Loin Stuffed With Roasted Garlic, Dried Apricots and Cranberries and Port Wine Pan Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
My husband made this for our Sunday dinner and I have to say that this was not only beautiful, it was absolutely delicious--our picky kids even ate it! The pan sauce was divine and was a perfect compliment to the roast and the white rice we had on the side. Will DEFINITELY make again, thank you.

Hashbrown Casserole

I made this as an extra side dish for Thanksgiving dinner. It was such a hit it was gone before the usually popular mashed potatoes! The only changes were that I used freshly diced onion and because I didn't have cereal, crushed tortilla chips to use on top--very good and crispy! I will be making this again. Thank you.

Zing-a-Ding-Ding Spaghetti with Albacore Tuna

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
The hub and I were a little leery of trying this recipe but since we had the ingredients on hand, we did. It was very good and though we thought the tuna might overpower the flavor, it was perfect. Served it with some crusty garlic bread and it was delicious! Will make again, and may try with crab as suggested on another review.

This has got to be the best side dish ever! I could eat this as a meal by itself. Used craisins instead of the raisins and it was beautiful!
