Cheese Herb Bread

I made this bread in the breadmaker - followed the directions to a T - and for some reason the top completely caved in! It was perfectly fine until it had about 30 minutes left and the top fell. However, it still tasted really good and I got many compliments on it! I just cut it up before serving it so my guests didn't see what it looked like. ;)

Crispy Baked Basa

This recipe was very yummy. We had never had basa before but it is a tasty fish. Just a few revisions to the original recipe: I used 1/8 c. light mayo and 1/8 c. light sour cream (instead of 1/4 c. mayo), used chipolte mustard and omitted the hot sauce and also used breadcrumbs instead of the toasts. Turned out fantastic!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

These cookies are great - we love them! A word of caution, however - make sure to only drizzle a little bit of the chocolate sauce over the cherry if you are going to do it before baking. We made the mistake of drizzling too much and it got all over the pan and then the cookies stuck. On our second batch we tried just a little drizzle only on the cherry and it turned out beautifully! Next time I think we are going to wait to drizzle the sauce until after the cookies have baked.

Buckeye Balls II

These buckeye balls were very tasty! The recipe doesn't say how long to refrigerate - and we were in somewhat of a hurry - so we decided to put them in the freezer for about an hour. That seemed to do the trick as they were relatively easy to manage while dipping in chocolate.

Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

These cookies were fantastic. We also ditched the raisins and just put in craisins - although we only put in 1.5 cups of craisins and it seemed to be plenty. Next time I'll experiment with nuts too!

Jewish Apple Cake I

This cake was very moist and delicious - our company had seconds and even thirds! However, MAKE SURE to grease the pan very well. I sprayed my bundt pan with Pam (quite a bit of it) and it stuck pretty badly. The cake looked horrible but tasted wonderful! Btw, it took 80 minutes at 350 to cook.

Sun Dried Tomato Focaccia

This recipe was delicious - the bread was the hit of the dinner party. I took other people's advice and added the cheese after cooking the bread for about 8 minutes. And I didn't have dry milk powder so I just used regular milk. I coarsely chopped the sun-dried tomatoes so there were still chunks of them in the bread even after the bread machine made the dough. Fantastic!

Banana Nut Cake

This cake turned out fantastic! It is very moist and yummy. Instead of two pans, I made it in a bundt pan (it took 32 minutes to cook). Fabulous! And I don't think it needs any frosting - it's great the way it is!

Dessert Pizza

Everyone loved this dessert and it was so easy to make! I made vanilla pudding and mixed it in with the frozen whipped topping and it came out great (I imagine any kind of pudding would be good). I topped it with kiwi, mandarin oranges, strawberries and blueberries. Fantastic!

Halloween Brain Dip

I brought this dish to a Halloween party and it was a big hit! Only one note: I used the little packages of fruit leather found at the store and had a hard time getting them to stay (they weren't quite long enough). I would recommend using larger packages or something like Fruit by the Foot.
