Loved the overall recipe, I did make a couple of changes, I left out the butter, short ribs have a lot of fat and it seemed odd to put more in when they're being cooked. I also left out the sugar, my family have more savoury tastes and find meat sauces with sugar added very strange tasting, so that one is just a personal thing.
My only other change was to add more flour because there is a lot of gravy with this dish.
My family enjoyed it without the changes but they enjoy it even more with them.
