Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Have made these on the stove top and baked in the oven, they are great either way. Definately triple the sauce.

Chocolate Mayo Cake

Not exactly like my grandmothers used to be ( was kind of a cross between and cake mix and mayo cake) but this did bring back memories, thanks for sharing. I did use miracle whip instead of mayo because that's how my grandmother always made hers, followed the rest exactly but cooked in 9x13 pan for 45 mins.

Chocolate Frosting I

I chose this recipe because I was out of milk. I can't say I was expecting it to be very good but luckily I was wrong and it is actually a really good and simple recipe. The only change I make was adding a little vanilla and a sprinkle of brown sugar to the mix to give it a little more flavour.

Lemon Square Bars

I followed this recipe exactly and the cooking times were not long enough or filling just doesn't set up enough. I was hoping for something more sturdy and less messy. Other than the soggy squares, the taste wasn't bad. But by the next day there were mushy and didn't get eaten by anyone but me. I may try 2 smaller pans and cook them longer if I use this recipe again.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Made this for a party and it was a big hit. Everyone wanted the recipe and I had to make it again for my mother and sister. I used sour cream instead of mayo like many reviews suggested and used a package of pre shredded itialian cheese mix. It was better than some I have had in restaraunts but feel like it was missing just a little something. Next time I may try it with the mayonnaise or try the restaraunt style recipe. All in all great recipe and easy to alter.

Best Brownies

I doubled this recipe in an 8 x 8 pan but the original recipe would have been plenty. Took a little longer for the center to cook but still turned out very good.

Absolutely Best Brownies

Used all purpose flour instead of self rising and added 1/4 tsp baking powder. The brownies didn't really seem to rise at all so I'm guessing the flour makes a big difference. Definately tasted good but would make a double or triple batch so they're not so flat next time. Also topped with chocolate icing and crushed walnuts. mmmm

American Lasagna

I add about 3/4 of a package of frozen spinach to the ricotta mixture. Takes a little more time than some other lasagna recipes but is well worth it. Love this recipe and my boyfriend gets very excited when I make it.

Kitty Litter Cake
