I thought this recipe had a great base for a baked pasta. I made a few changes though after reading others reviews. Instead of sour cream I used a pound of ricotta mixed with spinach, garlic, red pepper, garlic, and 8 oz. shredded mozarella chesse. I also subsituted turkey italian sausage for the ground beef. I layered as follows:
ladel of sauce, half of ziti, half of sauce, ricotta mixture, ziti, rest of sauce, slices of provolone cheese. It turned out great!
