I love cooking. I try and cook every night and I love that my husband doesn't mind sampling new recipes. I love to entertain as well and one of my favorite things I look forward to all year is to host Thanksgiving!
My favorite things to cook
I'm actually up for anything but if I had to choose a favorite thing to cook, it would have to be hot finger foods at parties and any chicken dish. Chicken is so versatile. I have never taken a culinary class, but I would love to. My mother and grandmother have taught me from a very early age.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Homemade everything at Thanksgiving.. gravy, pies, breads, you name it. Christmas and Easter too. It has to be homemade or I will be avoiding serving it (when people bring it to the house) as rude as that may sound.
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving - hands down. Its always a hit.
My cooking tragedies
So many of my failures are due to having too many ingredients usually. Most of my knock out dishes are with less than 6 ingredients.
