About this Cook
I'm 25 years old and have been cooking since I was 14. I am an animal lover and have a 10 month old baby Saint Bernard and a 5 year old Kitty cat, those are my kids! I cook for my boyfriend and myself and his son for the time being. His son is very picky but I cook what I like! :P he he he
My favorite things to cook
BBQ! I am a grilled steak of any sort master! And a marinade hint? STUBB'S MARINADES!! All of them are the best. Their BBQ sauces and basting stuff is awesome. I am glad I found that product because all other marinades I've tried never just made the meat taste any good on or off the grill.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Potatoe salads for BBQ's or pot lucks. Mom always makes apple pies and pumpkin pies for Christmas and Thanksgiving but I don't like pie that much and probably wouldn't make it or eat it myself. Always a turkey, Prime rib or ham on the holidays.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I cook something that people like. I make a mean stroganoff and the most awesome grilled steaks!
My cooking tragedies
Large roasts of any sort. Never knew how to cook them until recently.

Cajun Catfish Supreme
My boyfriend, originally from Mississippi said this tasted GREAT if without the catfish and he picked all the catfish out. He said this IS a cajun dish. I on the other hand would like to say that I cooked this recipie as it was prinited with the exeption of one can Cream of Shrimp Soup and one can Cream of Mushroom Soup/Low Sodium. I did everything to the tea as called for and I am from California so maybe my taste buds are different but...This was disgusting. It was the FISHIEST tasting dish ever. It was SALTY. I LOVE SALT....So if it tastes salty to me, that is a sign of SALTY SUPREME. I will never attempt to make this again and gave the 2 stars for my boyfriend, ft they were for myself I'd have given none. I ended up eating a TV dinner which wasn't more complimentary but a lot better than Cajun Catfish Supreme!
