I did not have the yogurt so I made these with sour cream instead. Instead of the almonds I used oats in the topping. Turned out good. Since I am the only one in the house who is big rhubarb fan it is nice they are individual so I can freeze some.

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Good flavors, but a little dry. Maybe will try again with additional tomatoes or taco sauce added for more moisture.

Cheeseburger Loaf

I make this often, kids love it. Make it even easier by making filling as directed and use a can of phillsbury french bread dough rolled out instead of dough recipe.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake II

Very good. I used the exact recipe for the filling. For the crust I used one package of graham crackers with 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup of cocoa powder, and 1/3 cup melted butter. I topped the cheesecake with chocolate ganache made from 1 cup melted semi sweet chips, 3 T of butter, 1 T corn syrup and 1 tsp of vanilla. Sprinkled crushed chocolate chip cookies on top.

Cranberry Cheese Bars

Made as the recipe stated. Good but I think next time I will try with a different kind of fruit and use more of it. Might try to lighten up a little with using reduced fat products and a little less sugar.

Spiced Yogurt Pound Cake

It is not too often that I give a recipe such a low rating. I followed this recipe to the T and found it to have such a strange texture and a strange taste. My husband thought that it tasted like one of those cakes that you pour milk over. There was one overwhelming spice flavor in this cake, not too sure but I think it was the cloves since they tend to be a strong spice. Will not make this again.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

This was really good. I used stew meat instead of the round steak because that was on sale at the store. Added in fresh mushrooms halved the last 30 minutes since I do not like them cooked to mush and the rest of the family can pick them out easier. Only used 8 ounces of light sour cream and the consistency turned out perfect. Used red wine instead of white cause that is what I had. Served over egg noodles. The whole family loved it.

Paula's Bread Sticks

Very good and easy. I used my bread machine on dough cycle. I used half wheat and half white flour, 3 T sugar, and added 1 T italian seasonings, and 1/2 t of garlic powder to the dough. Rolled into the 18 sticks just fine. Before putting in the oven to bake I brushed with 2 T melted butter and 2 T grated parmesan cheese.

Biscotti

I used 2 tsp of almond extract and 1 tsp of vanilla. I added in 1/2 cup of sliced almonds and 1/2 cup of dried cranberries into the batter. When cooled I drizzled with melted white chocolate. They were delcious and would make a great gift. Great base recipe to try all different flavor combos!

Zucchini Brownies

Very good! So rich and dense that no one will know the have zucchini in them unless you tell them. I did peel my zucchini so it was not seen by my kids. A great use for the giant zucchini's from the garden.

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Made for Thanksgiving and everyone loved this. I did increase the Irish Cream to 1/3 cup and used a large chocolate bar the I cut into large chunks to decorate the top. I put a pan of boiling water in the oven underneath the cheesecake and had no problems with cracking at all.
