Orange Almond Biscotti II

The dough is really gooey. It's easier to just shape it on the cooking sheet. Spread it like PB. I ended up waiting on one log and the dough wasn't as sticky anymore. Use only one log per baking sheet because the dough spreads a lot. Baking time should be the maximum time from the directions.

Bread Pudding II

I didn't care for the buttery taste. I might mix it up with the egg/milk mixture instead of drizzling it on top. I added almonds with the raisins. My son loved it.

MMMMM... Brownies

I was really excited to try this recipe because there wasn't much butter and not that many ingredients. They were good, but not as good as everyone else is describing. There's a strong salty taste to it. I didn't like that.

Strawnana Bread

I made some adjustments to this based on what I had and liked. I didn't mash the strawberries, just sliced them. Left out the orange zest and nutmeg. Substitued pecans for walnuts. Made one loaf and 16 muffins which as more than enough. Tasty and scrumptious when eaten right out of the oven.

I love this sauce. I substituted the red pepper with green pepper since I didn't have any. I also added more 2% milk and decreased the butter by 2 tbsp. If you're feeding a large family, you will definitely need to make use more than one block of cream cheese and the better in the original recipe. This only made enough for about 3 recipes and we don't eat large portions.

The Best Lemon Bars

Very good, but you have to grease the pan! The first time I made this, the crust was completely stuck to the pan, but everyone loved the top and was just scraping off whatever they could get. The second time I followed the reviewer's tips and used 2/3 cup of lemon juice in the 8x11 pan. That was a little too tart for our tastes. Next time, I'm going to lessen the lemon juice. Update: This is my 3rd time making these. The first two times I made these, I melted the butter and it made the crust into a dough. This made the crust soft and really good and an appropriate match up for the lemon taste.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

This was yummmy. I did follow the reviews of coating butter and then putting it into the bread crumb mix. We prefer spicy so I increased the red pepper and oregano. I also topped it off with mozarella.

This is so delicious! The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the recipe calls for sprinkling the crumbs. You have to create a crust on the pan and I poured the condensed milk with each layer so everything was nicely layered together without falling apart.

Stuffed Tomatoes

I changed this recipe a lot. You can do a lot of things to stuff the tomatoes. I used ground chicken with bell peppers (all I had). I didn't throw the stuffing of the tomatoes out, but used it later for another sauce for the next day.

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds
