This is second time I made these cookies and the first time they came out flat and huge and flat. I thought it may be because I melted the butter in the microwave. I just made these again and did not melt the butter. Once again terrible results. I just cannot understand what I am doing wrong. If anyone has any suggestions to what went wrong please suggest what I could do better. I followed the suggestions to exactly what is on noted.

Oh my so delicious! I used italian herbs to rub into the skin along with some melted butter. I have made this many times and since I have been rubbing the butter onto the skin it makes it crispy. I also add celery and carrots inside it. My children love it and we all enjoy mashed potatoes and corn with it.
