Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake
1st, this recipe is AMAZING! I've used this recipe twice now. I made a bundt cake with it for Father's day and it was out of this world (home made fresh cherry topping drizzled over). I've never tasted a cake so moist! It kills me to have to use a boxed cake mix with it, but honestly it's the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I substituted a little milk & Hershey's chocolate syrup for the coffee. For this photo I submitted, I did a rectangular cake (white cavity cake on the bottom, dark chocolate on top),a layer of whipped cream frosting with fresh Raspberries, and a layer of homemade raspberry compote. I finished it off with a dark chocolate ganache, chopped hazlenuts, dark chocolate shavings, and a dusting of powdered sugar. I think the birthday girl will enjoy it!

Balsamic Roasted Red Potatoes
These turned out fabulous. I actually prefer these to mashed potatoes for the holiday. I followed the recipe, and kinda of basted the potatoes with the vinegar. Excellent recipe.

Cafeteria Carrot Souffle
This recipe was fabulous. The yams are out carrots are in! I followed the recipe, but used 6 eggs and used 3/4c dark brown sugar. I also topped it with brown sugar, crushed cornflakes & butter. Delicious.
