About this Cook
I'm nothing exciting... I just love to cook and eat :)
My favorite things to cook
I couldn't narrow it down.. I enjoy almost all food, and I love cooking/baking stuff that I enjoy eating (no brainer!). I like trying new recipes, which is why I love this site.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't really have any cooking "traditions". My mom is not a big cook, but myself and 2 younger sisters enjoy cooking/baking together for holidays. My parent's have it good, I tell ya!
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving 2007, I had about 10 friends over for dinner. I cooked everything all by myself, in my small little apartment (1 oven!). The turkey (which I brined the night before), homemade stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes...the works. And to my surprise, it all turned out really (not to toot my own horn... but I mean *really*) good!
My cooking tragedies
When I was younger I tried to make a chicken casserole and didn't cook the chicken thoroughly before I put it in the casserole. Needless to say, that dish went in the trash.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing
This recipe is awesome! I used french loaves, pork sausage (as I couldn't find any turkey sausage) omitted the parsley and liver... cooked in a casserole dish. It turned out amazing! Thanks for this keeper of a recipe!
