A self taught cook with a southern background. I look to achieve a balance between comfort food and gourmet elegance. In Sept 2009, I will be attending Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC, for baking and pastry arts. Anything southern with an added gourmet twist! My grand grand's buttermilk biscuits are a Sunday morning must have. I was recently hired to work with the "Whatever, whenever" dept, of the Minneapolis W Hotel, to create desserts. I was also hired by Spin nightclub in Minneapolis to supply cakes and desserts for their VIP tables.
