Irish Cream Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
This was the first time to make creme brulee. This recipe is fantastic!! Very easy to make ---lots of taste--- and the texture was perfect.I think it is better quality than any I have ever had in restaurants.

This was my first time making fresh pasta, and I am so glad I tried this recipe.Basil is my favorite herb, and now this is my favorite pasta.I mixed the dough in a food processor and rolled and cut it with a pasta machine.Sooo- easy and Sooo-good. Thanks for the recipe.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
This is a wonderful chicken recipe. It is easy and fast.I made the garlic infused oil earlier in the day, with more garlic than called for(my preference).Panko crumbs are my choice of bread crumbs and fresh grated peccorina parm. cheese.Very tasty.I served "Farewell to Basil Fettucine"(from this site)with a jarred alfredo sauce. This recipe will definitly be used often, both for the two of us or for company.

Baked Ziti with Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
Made this tonight. It was absolutely fantastic. The only thing I changed was the cheese. I grated pecorinno parm.and mozzerella cheeses, and used a little more sauce. Am looking forward to the left-overs.

Grilled Tropical Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
Tried this last night.I had bluefin tuna right off the fishing boat.Wasn't sure if I would like this marinade, but am really glad I tried it. It came out great.I did however make two small changes,I used crushed pineapple, because I didn't have preserves ,and because I don't like sesame oil, used regular olive oil.It was grilled to just rare and served over a salad with a light lime vinaigrette.I am sure this recipe will stay in my recipe box and used regularly.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I made this soup the other night.I thought that the flavor was very good. after reading some of the reviews, saying that they thought it was very bland, I did change 1 thing about the recipe. Not the ingredients, but just one step.I began with 2 TBLES. olive oil, heated, added celery, onion, garlic,a little salt &pepper to that and sauteed them til soft. Then added the broth and the rest of the ingredient's.This usually adds more flavor to the broth.

Basil Pan-Seared Scallops over Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I tried this recipe tonight.Thought it was terrific. I had planned it for two, but we had unexpected company for dinner. Only had enough scallops for 2, so I had to supplement with shrimp. Other than that I followed the recipe almost to the "T".I sauteed spinach in the pan I cooked the scallops and shrimp in an added that to the pasta. Will definitly use this recipe again, with maybe a bit more garlic,(just our pesonal taste)

My friend was asking for Beef Stroganoff. We tried this recipe tonight. I followed the recipe almost to the "T".Only difference was I used top sirloin, and added fresh mushrooms when beef was almost done. Absolutly Wonderful!!Even our guest(who does not like mushrooms)loved this meal. This is definitly a keeper in my recipe box.
