I am a sophomore in highschool and my name is Ellie Fisher. I have three sisters and three brothers that I love dearly. I enjoy music, and drama, and creating anything remotely edible! I love to bake cookies, cakes, fudge, breads, etc. I also love throwing stir-fries together with many different flavor twists. I enjoy cooking pasta,chicken, and I also like to grill. I also like to make chili, stew, and,and,and MEATLOAF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay ill stop now. My family is weird. We do not have turkey for dinner. We hate it...( sorry, all turkey lovers out there) so we have homemade chicken kiev instead. we still make all the typical side dishes. I love our tradition for making hundreds of delicious pastries and cookies at christmas. I cant wait to share some of these recipes! Hmmmmmm...cooking triumphs. Let's see, I beat my older sister's reputation as the family's best chocolate chip cookie maker. That was a day! And my other triumph would be the first night I made a full-course meal for my family. Hah! THis should be funny...There was a time I tried to make snickerdoodles. Okay, so you know how they are supposed to be kinda thick and poofy? Well mine, they like totally spread out and stuck together like a piece of cardboard. I had been making them for somebody special too... Another trag. would be the time that I made grasshopper bars and somehow popped WAY too much salt in there. I presented them so proudly and watched as everyone took their first bite, and went to go rinse their mouths. It was sad.
