Blueberry Sauce

Whole Grain Waffles

Excellent waffles!! You don't even know that they are good for you. Made blueberry sauce from this site to go with them and they were to die for!!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

I love this recipe!! I have just started making my own bread and this recipe is fool proof. I use all whole wheat flour and skip the second amount of honey as I find it is too sweet with both amounts of honey. I also make the dough into only 2 loaves as they make pretty little loaves if you divide them into 3. This makes awesome buns too!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

I know this already has a lot of reviews but it was so good I just had to add my two cents worth. The only thing I did different was toast the almonds in the oven with the sesame seeds instead of on the stove with butter. The dressing is what makes the salad!!

Pistachio Eclair Dessert

Excellent!! I too used two packages of pistachio pudding and it was delicious. I also topped it with cool whip and mini chocolate chips instead of the icing. I think the icing would have made it too rich. It is a nice light dessert after a very filling meal.

Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf

I made these with whole wheat flour and sucanat (organic brown sugar) and made them into mini muffins and baked for 12-15 min. I only bought 1 lemon and found to get 3 tbsp of lemon zest you need at least 2 lemons. Had pretty good flavor but I think with the lemon zest from another lemon it would be even better. I also only used about 1/4 cup of poppy seeds, 1/2 cup would have been too much. Also used 1 cup of yogurt and only 1/2 cup butter as other reviewers suggested.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Excellent!! I took other reviewers advice and dipped the chicken in egg and bread crumbs before rolling up with the ham and cheese. I sprinkled the leftover breadcrumbs over the chicken once it was in the pan to make them a little crisper. I made a sauce using wine, chicken boullion, cornstarch and whip cream from another chicken cordon bleu recipe.

Creamy Twice-Baked Potatoes

Very YUMMY!! I liked the change from sour cream to cream cheese. I did mix some of the shredded cheddar into potato mixture and then sprinkled the rest on the top and sprinkled bacon bits and baked for another 5-10 minutes until cheese was melted

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

This was very tasty. I was cooking other things at the same time so I only had the oven temperature at 375 degrees. It took about 15 minutes longer and it was fully cooked without the burnt garlic like some other reviewers had complained about.

BLT Salad

Great salad!! I used store bought real bacon bits instead of cooking up a pound of bacon. Less time consuming that way and was still delicious.

Amaretto Divine

Very good cake. Made this for my daughters birthday and everyone loved it. I could not find amaretto creamer so I used french vanilla, would like to try it with the amaretto creamer some time. I used 2 large containers of cool whip as I wanted to frost the sides of the cake but had way too much. I think you could do it with only 1 large container of cool whip or you could go with 1 large and 1 small and then you would definately have enough.

Whole Wheat Honey Bread

EXCELLENT! I don't have a bread machine so I mixed it in my kitchenaid, I stirred the honey into the warm water until dissolved then added milk powder and yeast and let sit for about 5 min then added butter instead of shortening and salt and then gradually added the flour with dough hook on stir or low and let the kitchenaid mix for about 5 or 10 min and then let it rise then punched it down and made into a loaf and let it rise again. It was delicious!!

Amish White Bread

I am so excited that I finally made bread that turned out!! I mixed it in my kitchenaid mixer using the instructions from breadguy. I too reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup and used all purpose flour. I didn't use the full 6 cups (probably 5 to 5 1/2). Awesome bread!!!!

Rhubarb Bounce

Mine did not come out all gooey and carmely on the bottom. It was hard and crunchy on the bottom b/c I had to cook it longer so the cake was done. Not impressed, will not try it again.

Berry Crisp

Loved this dessert. It was easy to make and very healthy. I used a bag of frozen fruit medley that contained strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. It was delicious!

Rhubarb Pudding Cake

Excellent recipe. I used 4 cups of rhubarb also as am trying to use up my abundant crop. I think it is better with more rhubarb in it. Thanks for sharing.

Creamed Salmon on Toast

My husband grew up eating this. The only difference is instead of making the cream sauce his mother used to use cream of mushroom soup. Less work and just as yummy.
